Cozy Coastal Atmosphere – A Hampton “Haven”

Since opening in 2020, Santiago’s Baja Grill has been a cozy, low-key haven for locals and tourists alike. Located in town at 20 Depot Square, Hampton, NH, our restaurant features a charming Old World fishing-village décor that echoes Hampton’s coastal heritage – think rustic nautical touches and a relaxed, stress-free vibe. The space is intimate and inviting, with a friendly staff that makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. We offer comfortable indoor seating and a small outdoor patio for fair-weather days, plus off-street parking across the street for your convenience. Whether you’re a Hampton local or visiting the New Hampshire Seacoast, you’ll find a warm welcome here. Come in as you are, sip a cold drink, and let our flavorful food comfort the soul in a place where “everyone is friendly” and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming.

Santiago’s Baja Grill is more than just a SoCal restaurant – it’s a neighborhood gathering spot known for great food, great drinks, and great people. Join us for lunch, dinner, or drinks, and discover why we’re Hampton’s favorite spot for tacos and margaritas. We can’t wait to welcome you to our Baja Grill!

Santiago's

Named after the main character in Ernest Hemingway’s ‘Old Man and the Sea,’ this is a spot everything an exhausted fisherman would want: warm atmosphere, a cold drink and food to comfort the soul.

As the story goes, Santiago set sail on a three-day journey to catch the biggest fish of his life, only to have it mauled to a carcass by sharks upon reaching shore.

Coincidence or not, the restaurant set to open mid-March of 2020 suffered a similar plight when a world pandemic forced the restaurant industry to shut down before we could open.

And so, our story is just beginning. We don’t know the end yet, but we certainly know the character of the name.

We are excited about what direction you take it…
